Project 2026: Modular Buildings for Orphans

In 2026, the EUGERA GROUP will implement a specific project dedicated to the construction of modular buildings for orphaned children. This humanitarian initiative leverages the company's expertise in modular and prefabricated construction to quickly create urgently needed housing and care facilities.

The Eugera Group and its partners will donate several complete buildings for orphans in Southeast Asia in 2026. These modular buildings, each accommodating 50 to 100 children, will include staff rooms and apartments, and will come fully furnished.

Operators of specialized orphanages, government agencies, and other institutions can contact Eugera Singapore oder Eugera Medi-Pharma Australia to propose one or more locations where there is an urgent need.

Eugera and its partners' humanitarian action is specifically for Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.

Reliance on Institutional Care: Residential care (orphanages) remains a common, often culturally accepted, solution in many Southeast Asian countries. However, this approach is often seen as a last resort by child welfare experts, as it can hinder a child's social, emotional, and intellectual development.

In Southeast Asia, millions of children live without parental care, a situation primarily driven by pervasive poverty, inequality, and weak social protection systems. The majority are cared for by extended family members or reside in residential care institutions, which are often poorly regulated. Their most pressing needs center on access to quality education, basic life necessities (food, health, shelter), and effective protection from violence and exploitation.

Poverty as a Key Driver: Extreme poverty is the leading cause of family separation. Many children in institutions actually have one or both parents alive but are placed in care because their families cannot afford to provide for their basic needs or education.

Vulnerability and Risks: Children in alternative care are highly vulnerable. They face an increased risk of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse, neglect, exploitation, child labor, and human trafficking.
